We provide community-based services by partnering with local churches, commnuity organizatins, schools, and business that allow our mission to be practiced indepenently or through collabortive impact. Our remote portabilty of services allows us flexibility in how and where we serve.

We partner with businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community stakeholders to design innovative strategies that strengthen workforce pipelines, improve performance, and drive lasting impact.

Meet the Founder

Brittany Keno is an accomplished nonprofit and workforce development leader with more than 18 years of experience helping individuals, families, and communities access opportunities that lead to long-term success. Throughout her career, she has led programs focused on workforce development, education, economic mobility, leadership development, and community engagement, impacting hundreds of individuals across Indianapolis and beyond.

As the Founder of Skill Start, Brittany combines her passion for people with her expertise in program design, strategic partnerships, organizational leadership, and talent development. She believes that access to education, skills, and opportunity can transform lives and strengthen communities.

Brittany holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and has built a reputation for creating innovative solutions that connect people to careers, leadership opportunities, and pathways to self-sufficiency. Her work has included developing workforce training programs, leading community initiatives, building partnerships with employers and educational institutions, and helping organizations strengthen their impact.

Through Skill Start Solutions LLC and Skill Start Incorporated, Brittany is committed to empowering individuals, supporting organizations, and creating opportunities that help people learn, grow, and thrive.

When she's not building programs or cultivating partnerships, Brittany enjoys investing in her family, serving her community, and inspiring others to pursue their purpose and potential.
